This dove was made as test for some new clay. The clay is a cream colour. It has been glazed with a clear glossy glaze on the front and hand polished for a soft matte finish on the back.It has been finished with gold lustre markings on the head, wings and tail of the dove. There are some rough patched on the front of the dove due to the glaze being applied thinly. Colour may vary due to lighting and devices.
If you're looking for simple and elegant Christmas tree decorations this stoneware dove is the perfect find. Every dove is carefully handmade and handled as it’s taken through each process, before being sent to it’s new home. Perfect especially around Christmas time for trees and decoration around the home, bringing a little elegance to any living space.
Each dove is cut and dried, every edge, no matter how small, is carefully wiped down for a clean crisp finish. After going through several making processes it's ready to be hand polished, back and front, giving it a smooth matte silky feel. Finally, gold ribbon is added and sealed for hanging.
As each dove is handmade please allow for slight variations.

Care:
- All doves can be washed with warm water making sure no water contact is made with the ribbon. Please refrain from using a hard sponge as this may damage the finish, especially on the gold lustre heart.
- Please handle all ceramic items with care as they are fragile and may break if you drop them on a hard surface.
Due to the nature of all items being handmade, please allow slight variations from the photograph above.

Packaging
At Sejal Ceramics we try to re-use packaging from previous deliveries to protect your new handmade piece, all whilst keeping the planet in mind. Over time, our aim is to phase out bubble wrap and plastic tape, but you might see this arrive with your order, as we’re using up what we have left.
Soon, we’ll start to introduce more sustainable packaging and protection, but until then, please support us by checking your packaging and recycling it in the right way. Every piece comes wrapped in tissue paper and sealed with a branded sticker.
Shipping
We aim to process every order within 1-3 working days after receiving your order email confirmation. This excludes weekends and holidays.
Domestic shipping- Signature required
1st Class aims to deliver the next working day
2nd Class aims to deliver between 2-3 working days
International Shipping- Tracked and Signed aims to deliver within 7 days.

Care Instructions
- Pieces without ribbon, twine or paper roses can be washed with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Please refrain from using a hard sponge as this can damage the finish, especially on the gold lustre heart.
- Handle all ceramic items with care as they are fragile and may break if you drop them on a hard surface.
- Keep pieces with ribbon or paper roses away from direct sunlight as they can fade in the sun.
- Handle ceramics with dry clean hands to avoid ruining the soft matte finish.
